The Melaka Planetarium was designed as an interactive adventure science centre focusing on the science and technology behind astronomy. It is housed within a three-storey building, the design of which was inspired by Islamic geometry.

The brief by the Malaysian Palm Oil Council (MPOC) for the INFA 2018 Exhibition in Hanover, Germany was simple: showcase Malaysia in the visual cues of the design and tell the story of MPOC in an interactive way.
