By adding typographic spice to text layouts comprising a classic serif typeface, headline fonts are able to capture the changing times and fortunes of Penang and E&O Hotel.
E&O Gallery
As a lighthouse-inspired building that is located by the sea, the E&O Gallery welcomes visitors with the sound of the ocean and wind as they step into an otherwise silent building. Thermal sensors hidden away will pick up the heat signature of the visitor and trigger the soundscape of the sea.

As the visitor moves through the various areas of the gallery, these sensors determine the visitor’s location and automatically trigger relevant multimedia videos or audios that fade away as the visitor move away from the exhibit.

Visitors get a glimpse into the vibrant past of the iconic E&O Hotel, established in 1885, and how this cherished landmark defines the Group’s ethos and leading position today as a premier lifestyle property developer.
