The Melaka Planetarium was designed as an interactive adventure science centre focusing on the science and technology behind astronomy. It is housed within a three-storey building, the design of which was inspired by Islamic geometry. Containing multiple exhibition zones, a dome theatre, cafeteria, and a library, many of the exhibits at the science centre are made to be interactive with a hands-on-minds-on approach.
