THE LRT GALLERY

Subang Jaya LRT
The Subang Jaya LRT station (Kelana Jaya Line) employs an architectural language of metal curvilinear form with structural steel supports, marrying dynamism with functionalism. Made extensively of prefabricated structural components, it was a particularly complex brownfield project set in a mature residential neighbourhood, needing to be constructed without obstructing an existing commuter train station.

Gideway
A unique project is the Envelope constructed of tubular steel forming a double helix wrapping the guideway, with ETFE cushions embedded in the interstitial trapezoid windows, serving to create an aesthetically dynamic enclosure shielding neighbouring residents from the visual and sound impact of passing trains.

Light Transit Rail (LRT) Station
Our designs for stations are sculptural solutions acknowledging its otherwise utilitarian nature yet responding to the urban fabric. Addressing mobility and crowd flow, the planning and architectural form serves to organise pedestrian flow such that it is a celebration of arrival and departure within characteristically transitional spaces.
