Woodcarving
Wood was used as the unifying medium because of its importance to the Malay community. Woodcarving is one of the most important Malay arts of the East Coast.
Wood Sculptures
On the grounds of the museum is a variety of wood sculptures depicting local animals and birds: the horse (Pekan hosts the Royal Pahang Classic polo championship every year), crane, deer and the elephant.
