Tech Dome Penang
The Penang Tech Centre also advocated the building of Tech Dome Penang, which is located at the geodesic dome of KOMTAR, just adjacent to the George Town UNESCO World Heritage Site in Penang. Visitors will get an opportunity to discover the exciting world of technology and how they work by exploring the world-class exhibits in its galleries.
Nautilus Shell
We provided an iconic architectural design based on the concept of a nautilus shell. We also provided the scope for interactive design on the subject zones, as well as an immersive thematic setting that is relevant to the topics being explored.
Delight of Scientific Discovery
The immersive experience at the Penang Tech Centre was designed so that it is driven by the wide use of digital interactions to convey the thematic education on various aspects of everyday technology. Specially designed tactile experiences allow the visitor to enjoy the storytelling as well as the delight of scientific discovery
Carefully thought out, the whole experience takes the visitor on an immersive journey, and instills in them an appreciation for technology and the role that it plays in our lives despite sometimes being taken for granted.
Penang Tech Centre
The Penang Tech Centre was an initiative by the Penang state government
 to create a hub for technology, education and exchange of ideas. Its intention was to be a vehicle for improving scientific literacy and technology ability in Malaysia. One of the earliest endeavours undertook involved designing a new building to house the Tech Centre and a learning lab for start-ups.
